Matthew Pescott Frost
Matthew Douglas Limited was founded in 2003 by Matthew following a decade as an independent financial adviser with Investec Bank and Timothy James & Partners. Matthew graduated from Southampton University in 1991 and is married to Rebecca, together they have 3 children all with a keen interest in sport and music prompting both personal and business links with Colchester Rugby and Hockey clubs.

Regularly continuing to provide guidance to our clients, Matthew holds a specialist qualification in the provision of pension’s advice.

Michael George
Michael enjoys a dual role as a qualified independent financial adviser but also ensures the finances of the company remain in good order and all of the work we undertake is fully completed accurately and on time. In 2004 he brought a wealth of experience to the company following many years with Friends Provident promoting their interests within the independent financial adviser market. Michael is married with a teenage step-son.

Rebecca Pescott Frost
After a number of years raising children and working in the pharmaceutical industry Rebecca became an integral part of the team in 2006 organising events and ensuring the wheels of business remain well oiled at all times. She is married to Matthew.

Douglas Pescott Frost
Recently persuaded out of retirement, a qualified Chartered Accountant, Douglas is responsible for monitoring our in-house compliance procedures to ensure that we maintain our high standards in line with the Financial Services Authority guidelines. Douglas was educated at Edinburgh University and is married both to Susan and the golf course.

Mark Norman
Joining at the start of 2006 Mark is another recruit from Friends Provident and is now an integral part of our sales team providing advice to our growing list of clients. Mark graduated from Bristol Business School in 1993 and is married with 2 young children, he holds specialist qualifications in ‘taxation and trusts’ and ‘personal investment planning’.

Karl Tay
After a long and varied career with Legal & General and more recently with Morgan James Associates, Karl brings a wealth of experience and an established network of clients to the practice in his role as a senior mortgage adviser. Karl is married with several adult children.
