Matthew Douglas Limited was established in 2003 following the retirement of the founding partners of Barrow Hazell & Company. We are a provincial Independent Financial Adviser firm based in Nayland, regulated and directly authorised by the Financial Services Authority.

As we are totally independent of all product providers, any product or service that we recommend to you is rigorously tested to ensure that it meets your financial objectives. Moreover, we will also ensure that the company concerned is, in our opinion, best placed amongst all those in the marketplace to meet your objectives.



Since 2003 we have been working to create a business covering East Anglia and the South East with the professional levels of service and expertise more commonly associated with City-based practices, but with a substantially lower cost base.



There are presently five registered Financial Advisers working from this office and we have developed close relationships with numerous separate accountancy practices and other associated professionals within the region.
